This three-day course covers the required material for taking the EOCP Level I and II certification exam. An exam session has been set up for April 27th in Fort St. John.

Participants earn 1.8 Continuing Education Units from the EOCP.

Course topics include:
• Regulations for wastewater treatment plants
• Preliminary and primary treatment processes
• Operation or activated sludge, trickling filter, and RBC plants
• Troubleshooting secondary treatment processes
• Calculations required for determining efficient operation
• Aerobic and anaerobic digester operations
• Sludge thickening and dewatering

The EOCP’s first biennial Tradeshow and Conference will be held in Vancouver from the 9th to the 11th of September 2018.  This event is designed by Operators for Operators – early bird registration opens on the 9th of March!

This event will provide learning opportunities for water and wastewater sector professionals on innovative solutions and new insights to foster the prudent management of water and wastewater in British Columbia and Yukon.
